
Felipe Mucci is a Los Angeles based Director from Brazil. His American Film Institute thesis (VLADO 15’) has been recognized in over 30 festivals, as well as being shortlisted at the Student Academy Award (Oscars). His films have won innumerable awards, including - LABFF Best Short Film, TMFF - Best Short film, Camerimage Excellence Award, Festival NOIA.
Coming from a family of filmmakers and with a career that spans over 20 years, Felipe has worked as an actor for over 10 years which helps him to better understand how to develop and create a performance that is true to the character and to the story. Felipe’s most recent credits include 3 episodes of “The Coroner – I Speak For the Dead” for Discovery Channel and “Pequenos Grandes Talentos” for TV Globo in Brazil.
Felipe’s work is known for its strong visual style, unique stories and complex characters, which defy filmmaking conventions.
